Gainford Spa - 7mm scale Railway model.

Gainford is a lovely little village near Darlington. It has a Spa spring. Everything else on this page however is utterly fictitious, although hopefully representative of early steam railways.

These carriages are utterly tiny, highly polished and intricately decorated- lovely works of art in themselves. This model is constructed from card layers - even the axle boxes and springs - with only the wheels being purchased. I can produce such rolling stock if requested, but the r&d time is pretty substantial. That said, it is interesting and I like a challenge!
